Beginning March 2027, DFC plans to transition to a toddler/preschool program and will no longer be enrolling infants. We’d love for your family to join us!
About Our Program
🏡 DFC is a small family childcare program (6:1 ratio) run by Miss Lisa, offering a cozy, home-away-from-home environment where children feel safe, loved, and supported.
🥕 We provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day, following USDA-based guidelines for balanced, age-appropriate meals.
🍼 Breast Milk, Formula & Bottle Care
All bottles, cups, and bibs are washed and air-dried after each use and clearly labeled with child's name. Breast milk is refrigerated or frozen upon drop-off, formula is stored safely in the kitchen, and milk is served according to Colorado licensing guidelines.
🌿 As a simple Christian home, our days are rooted in kindness, gentleness, and caring for one another. These values guide the way we play, learn, and grow - especially for our youngest friends who are just beginning to explore the world.
What Do We Do?

Play is at the heart of everything we do. It’s how children learn, grow, and experience the joy of discovery. We enjoy being silly, learning kindness and manners, being creative (and messy) with arts & crafts, daily sensory play, dancing, exploring nature, and discovering God’s creation - all while creating a space where each child feels seen, supported, and encouraged.
When Are We Open?
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Open year-round (excluding paid federal holidays and two weeks unpaid owner vacation - one week in summer, one during Christmas break)

About the Owner
As a mom of three, with my youngest on the spectrum, I understand how hard it can be to find someone you truly trust with your child. Parenting a child with special needs has taught me patience, attuned to each child’s unique needs. I love supporting every child in the way that works best for them - whether they’re full of bouncing energy, a bit quieter and more reserved, or the tiniest ones just discovering the world for the first time. Here, together, we are family.
Now that my own children are older (our oldest is a cadet at a military university, and our two sweet girls are in school full-time), I’m excited to offer the same care and support to families in our community. Thank you for considering Dandelion Fields for your child!
